Vehicle Overview
The Mercedes-Benz S 680 Guard VR9 is the world's most comprehensively protected production limousine — built at the Mercedes-Benz factory in Sindelfingen under the Guard division's classified programme. VR9 protection, the highest rating under VPAM BRV 2009, is certified against armour-piercing projectiles, blast, and fragmentation threats.
WELP Group sources, specifies, and delivers the S 680 Guard through its principal intermediary arrangement with Mercedes-Benz Special Vehicles. Every vehicle is delivered with full VPAM and ERV 2010 test documentation, available to verified principals under NDA.
Standard equipment includes Mercedes-Benz's CBRN fresh-air filtration system, emergency exit system in all doors, run-flat tyres, and the S 680's 6.0-litre V12 biturbo engine — delivering 450 kW and 900 Nm in a vehicle rated for over 4 tonnes of armoured mass.
