Founded in 1995 in Germany, Klassen Special Vehicles has established itself as one of the world's most prestigious armoured vehicle manufacturers — uniquely combining certified ballistic protection with a level of interior craftsmanship that rivals the world's finest coachbuilders. Klassen specialises almost exclusively in Mercedes-Benz platforms — the AMG G63, S-Class, GLS, GLE, Sprinter, and V-Class — allowing a depth of platform knowledge that generalist armourers cannot match. Their engineers have developed bespoke armour integration systems for each model, preserving OEM suspension geometry, electronic systems, and aerodynamics under the added mass of a full protection package.
The company is best known internationally for the "King Kong" G63 — an aggressive widebody AMG G63 conversion combining VR8 or VR9 certified ballistic protection with a hand-fabricated exterior body package.
